Hey, my name is Jay and I am the founder of Mens Gardening and I have never been a gardener. Sure, when I was a kid I mowed lawns for money in my neighborhood, but that is about it. Beyond that, dirt was to jump and roll around in and not grow stuff.

Fast forward to now and I still roll around in dirt, but this time it is to grow awesome things that I can either eat or simply enjoy.

I also run a film blog called iFilmThings.com which is pretty time consuming, so gardening is my personal zen to escape the office and get outside.
